I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all of you who took part in last week’s “Make A Difference Day” activities. From Thursday evening’s meal packing event through the five projects carried out on Saturday, my unofficial tally comes to over 210 hours of service delivered to our community!  It was awesome to see so many of you demonstrating “Service Above Self” with a never-ending supply of smiles.

I am so proud of everyone who took part: our members, their spouses, kids and friends, youth from the Emmaus High School Interact club, and many who provided financial support.  I am particularly grateful to Gary Guthrie and all of the project captains for their hard work in planning and organizing each project.

It was a terrific day to unite in serving the hungry, the disadvantaged, those with special needs and the environment and to “Make A Difference” in so many lives.  Thank you all very, very much!

Yours in Rotary,

Burt
