Steve Gould
Every year the transition of new presidents start with PETS Rotary training.  The President Elect Training Seminar is a two day intensive session that takes place in King of Prussia PA under the guidance of the incoming District Governor Elect Herb Klotz.  Our incoming President for the 2019-20 Rotary year Steve Gould spent two wonderful days with 230 other President's elect in Eastern Pennsylvania.  Steve had time to learn what other organizations the size of ours and larger do to maintain the integrity of being Rotarians.

teve also learned that keeping up the Strategic plan started by Sure Straeter 5 years ago is important to keep our organization fresh and up to date so Emmaus Rotary has an action plan going forward.  As the present President and hopefully I can speak for some of the President's before me, the role of being President of a club our size can seem daunting at times.  However, as Steve will undoubtabedly find out, there are so many people in our organization that are ready, willing and capable to help you when you need it, you should never worry.  Everyone will truly pitch in to help.  We have one more Club Assembly coming up at the end of April and Steve will be organizing his first club assembly for July.  Time flies when you are having fun!
I look forward to the President's dinner that will be announced soon.  We are thinking some thing as last year....  Bear Creek, under the sun and stars to end one term and begin another.   Steve will certainly highlight his leadership experience for all of us in the next few weeks.  If you have any questions about Leadership opportunities in Rotary please take the time and ask any one of us sitting at the front table.  And if you are really looking for an experience come up and have a seat and enjoy our company where I am certain you will be entertained.
Sincerely,
Rick Zayait
